Do you have reliability data that you used to “test” the LD Screening Tool? And/or how have you validated it?

Laura Doto writes, “Also, do you have reliability data that you used to “test” the tool? And/or how have you validated it?”

I have informally validated the Learning Difficulty/Disability Pre-Screening Tool and Informal Comprehensive Identification Tool over my 35+ years of assessing students by the correlation of it to the following formal testing that was done with my students:

Woodcock Johnson III

Woodcock Reading Diagnostic Battery

Developmental Optometrist’s Testing Reports

Occupational Therapist’s Assessment Reports

Gibson Cognitive Test Battery (GCTB)

Woodcock Reading Mastery Test (WRMT)

Learning Efficiency Test (LET-II)

Test of Language Development-Primary (TOLD-P:3)

Clinical Evaluation of Language Fundamentals (CELF-4)

Wisc IV

Wiat-II

I have also had a variety of parents use the informal assessment tool for their kids who later had formal testing done which confirmed the results of the informal assessment tool.

Additionally, I have used research & resources from:
